It’s adidas. . . you can expect decent quality, but it is a NARROW running shoe. I like the traction and the arch support, but I wish it was just a tad wider. I’m not a hobbit, but I’m not an ice-skater, either.

They have the greatest design, the greatest comfort but the sizes of this shoes are wrong, im a 12 in all shoes and i purchased that size and this one didnt fit me, then i purchased a new pair and had to pick a 12. 5 in order to get my fit.

Look elsewhere if your foot is narrow and you need a bit of stability. The shoes were too roomy in the forefoot until I replaced the laces with a set of Yankz. That made the fit good and very comfortable. The tongue is gusseted and noticeably keeps crap from getting in the shoe. I also thought that the upper kept out a reasonable amount of fine dust while remaining breathable. The tread is sort of one-piece and grippy. It works well over rocky areas and prevents that stone bruise stuff. The shoes shed mud OK, not great, but OK. I really haven’t seen any shoe magically ‘shed’ real mud.
The shoes have held up well except for the cushioning components. The uppers and tread are wearing well. After a 50K race the shoes were visibly tilted (collapsed) inward. I overpronate and prefer shoes with a small amount of medial post. These shoes are not a good choice for me as I now have a touch of posterior tibial tendonitis.
Pros: gusseted tongue, upper and tread wear, good rock protection from tread, fit afforded no incidence of blisters.
Cons: lack if mid-foot stability, too roomy for narrow feet, fit is loosey-goosey when wet

I have no idea what Adidas was thinking when they revised the original Kanadia tr and made this “thing”.
The shoe is very “plasticy” and is slippery on wet surfaces. I never had this problem on the kanadia tr 1′s.
I put 20 miles on these shoes and put them in the washing machine and the are already falling apart. I have 3 pairs of Kanadia tr 1′s with over 500 miles on each pair. I have washed them each probably ten times and they show no signs of falling apart.
The tr 2′s have terrrible fit and cushioning. It feels as if I am running in those oversized plastic red clown shoes.
Do yourself a favor and buy the original tr 1′s and stay away from these pieces of garbage.
