HOW DO I KNOW IF A CAR STEREO WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH MY CD CHANGER?

I have a stereo complement in my car by pioneer. It has integrated tape, FM/AM, and twelve front cd changer in the back. I would similar to to shift the stereo but becoming different the twelve cd changer in the back. How would i be means to know that car stereo models have been concordant with my twelve cd changer in the back? Is there anything else i should know about the matter?
